KAYAKING in Southern Maryland.........hubby and I went out last Saturday and did a little kayaking.  We knew high tide was about 9:30ish, but when we finally got the kayaks out and cleaned we were getting a later start than we planned.  But off we went anyway...it was a beautiful morning and the tide was still good.  We saw one muskrat swimming, two blue herons fighting, three turtles sunning and one baby eagle and lots of fish jumping!  After enjoying nature it was time to paddle back to the car....well it was a very TIRING trip back, the tide was going out and we had to paddle against the current and now remember, i'm a grandma!! ha ha.  We finally made it back with our arms feeling a little shaky and when we got home all the kiddo's were still a sleep!!

I'M A GRANDMA!!

On May 28th Baby Drayden was born  :o)

Things have been pretty busy in my house...mommy B and daddy D + Baby are living at our house!! so i get to see this little bundle of joy everyday!!

I'm STILL stitching Strawberry Blonde!!  I am starting to see the end, i really only have stitching time on Saturdays and Sundays.  I get my coffee and my cockapoo Sadie sit outside on the screened in porch and stitch away.  I usually get about 2 hours to myself in the morning...everybody else in the house hold are late risers, lucky me!!
